Myths Busted About MyBookie

If you do some digging online, you’ll see some myths propagated about MyBookie.

I’ll review some of these myths and give you the reality behind them.

I did a deep dive into the bonuses at MyBookie and found that they are fairly average.

The majority of bonuses are match bonuses with the exception of a weekly free spins bonus.

The terms of the bonus offers are also average. Most bonuses have a 40x rollover, and the wagering requirement is pretty standard. Jackpot slots do not contribute to the wagering requirement.

The welcome bonus is a decent offer if you’re looking for a solid match bonus. The weekly bonuses are also “decent,” but nothing overly spectacular.

There is a 10% cashback offer, a couple of match bonuses, and a free spins offer.

“Meh” would be the best term to describe my feelings on the bonuses here. Personally, I didn’t find enough value in the offers to use them, but if you’re looking to stretch your deposit buck, they do the job.

However, there are two that are better than the rest. Let’s take a look.

While there are no free spins on this offer, the match amount is solid, which is good if you want to max out your starting balance.

Free Spins Wednesday – 50 Free Spins on a $50 Deposit

Deposit $50 or more on Wednesday with code MBSPINS for 50 free spins.

The rollover for this offer is 4x your deposit, which is more favorable than a 40x rollover of free spin winnings.

There is also a max cashout of $300.

The low rollover is the biggest selling point for this bonus. If I were to claim a bonus, this is probably the one I’d use, as I prefer free spins over a match bonus.

I really enjoyed playing the games at this casino.

What I liked most about playing here is the variety of games and the lower-stakes options available in most categories.

This is great for new players as they get a lot of play, even for a small deposit.

What I don’t like about the casino games is the lack of filter options or the lack of a search feature.

Not surprisingly, slots make up the largest gaming section in the casino.

Thousands of slots are available from top providers like BetSoft, BGaming, NetGame, and more.

Most of the lobby categories pertain to slots. You can find games by clicking Slots, Jackpot Slots, Cash Drops, Drops Frenzy, Buffalo Bonanza, Hold n Win, and more.

However, one thing that’s missing is an option to sort by provider or to search manually. The search bar only works for the sportsbook.

The RTP, volatility, and betting limits vary wildly. On average, the RTP of games ranges from 95% up to around 96.5%.

Also, some games let you play for as little as .05 per spin.

Bonanza Billion and Wild Buffalo Fortune Wheel were very good to me. I hit bonus rounds in both and made a $40 profit between the two.

Typically, I have trouble finding slots with bets less than .25 per spin, but there were many games here allowing low stake spins.

This gives all players a reasonable chance to win, including those making small deposits.

Blackjack

Blackjack games have their own category with over 45 options to choose from.

In addition to your standard games, you’ll find a ton of variants like Lucky Seven Blackjack, Perfect Pairs Blackjack, Super 7 Blackjack, and more.

One thing that sets MyBookie apart from other casinos is its multiple options for multi-handed Blackjack games, with some games allowing for up to seven hands at a time.

I played Lucky Seven Blackjack, Single Deck Blackjack, and Classic 5 Handed Blackjack.

I finished up about $30, thanks partly to a nice seven-hand win streak on Single Deck Blackjack.

My top tips for those new to the game are learning basic blackjack strategy and staying away from side bets.

The listed RTP for games ranges from 97.34% up to 99.84%, but only if you play perfect strategy. 

Overall, I was impressed with the selection of Blackjack games, which I feel is suitable for all skill levels and bankrolls.

Roulette

MyBookie has a better selection of roulette games than other casinos.

There are around 27 different options ranging from standard American, European, and French Roulette games to games like Double Ball Roulette and Double Dragon Roulette that have multipliers.

I liked the variety of roulette games, but there’s no filter to separate roulette games from other table games.

I primarily stuck with European Roulette and gave Double Dragon Roulette a try. I turned a profit of $25, thanks in part to one bet hitting with a 10x multiplier.

RTPs on these games range from 94.74% on games like Double Dragon Roulette to 97.3% for European Roulette.

Your best bet for playing Roulette is to play lower variance bets, such as Red or Black.

Remember that betting systems are usually long-term losers.

Other Table Games

Outside of Blackjack and Roulette, MyBookie Casino has an average selection of table games.

There are 38 titles, including Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker, Red Dog, Three Card Rummy, and more.

Some of the unusual titles include 6 Up Pocket Poker, Card Rush Royale, Christmas Dice, and Multihand Casino War. 

I liked the selection, and some of the games, such as Oasis Poker and Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker, allow for stakes as low as .10.

In addition to Oasis Poker and Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker, I also tried my luck at Red Dog, Pai Gow Poker, and Andar Bahar.

I wish I could say I did well, but I pretty much broke even. 

If you’re looking for something other than Blackjack and Roulette, this is a reasonable collection of games.

The low-stakes options make table games accessible to all players.

Video Poker

This was the first section I visited, as video poker is my favorite casino game.

I have mixed feelings about this section. While there are 22 video poker options available, it is missing a few games I prefer, such as Double Double Bonus Poker.

It does offer multi-hand poker games, which are hard to find at some casinos.

The paytables are a bit mixed, so you need to pay careful attention.

Most of the Jacks or Better games are 8-5 tables with an RTP of around 95%. However, the Multi-Hand Jacks or Better is a 9-6 machine with an RTP of 99.54% with perfect strategy.

That’s easily my favorite game and the best game you’ll find in the VP section.

Tens or Better is an option you don’t see at some casinos and has an RTP of 99.14% if you know how to play perfect strategy for the game.

If you don’t, stick with Jacks or Better.

Casual Games – Specialty Games

This casino offers 175 specialty games, and the selection is quite impressive.

There’s a little bit of everything, ranging from crash games to scratch cards, Plinko, Bingo, Minesweeper, and more. 

The category could use a little more organization, as there are no subcategories or a search bar.

You just need to scroll and pay careful attention. I played some bingo, Minesweeper, Plinko, B-Ball Blitz, JetX3, and Bingo 90.

I stuck to lower-stakes bets but still ended up losing a few bucks. 

These games are primarily luck-based, and the RTPs range from 93.5 to 95.5% on average.

You’ll want to practice some bankroll management by sticking with games with higher RTPs that allow for either lower bets or flat-round bets, such as Minesweeper.

The selection of games is slightly superior to that of many casinos, so if you’re looking for some casual games, this is a good group to play.

Live Dealer Games

Overall, I enjoyed the Live Dealer library at MyBookie Casino. There are dozens of games from Fresh Deck Studis, TVBet, and YB Gaming.

You’ll find numerous tables for Live Dealer Blackjack and Roulette, along with Baccarat, Dragon Tiger, Fortune Sic Bo, Super 6, and more. 

There are four different “Suites” to choose from, along with groupings for Live Blackjack, Baccarat, and More Live Dealer Games.

What I liked most about the options is that there were a few low-stake options, such as Bet on Poker, that allow for bets as low as .20.  

What I don’t like is that the Blackjack games start at limits of $2.50. There are no low-stake options.

However, if you’re a high roller, you will find plenty of action with stakes up to $20,000 per hand. 

I played Bet on Poker, Bet on Blackjack, Fortune Sic Bo, and Roulette Live. The graphics and gameplay were great, but the dealer interaction was subpar.

The dealers mostly gave generic responses, and most were very monotone. Also, there were quite a few issues with sound on some tables.

It was difficult to hear the dealer due to a low-volume microphone or sounds from other games drowning them out.

It’s not the best Live Dealer experience, but the option for playing lower stakes on some games makes up for that a little.

The banking options at MyBookie Casino are decent for deposits and a bit lacking for withdrawals.

You can deposit with credit cards, Moneygram, and crypto. I would have liked to see a couple of e-wallet options. Overall, the deposit options are on par with other casinos.

For withdrawals, I was disappointed. Bitcoin and bank wires are your only options, and bank wires incur a fee.

Bitcoin being the only option for cashing out is very disappointing, especially considering it accepts 10 cryptos for deposits.

MyBookie could take some notes from other casinos and expand their payout options.

However, despite the lack of payment options, they paid me out quickly, which is the most important thing.

MyBookie is probably better known for its sportsbook than its online casino. The sportsbook has a generally stellar reputation.

Personally, I think this sportsbook looks a lot like every other sportsbook out there. There’s nothing that makes me go “WOW.” Overall, it’s a sportsbook that largely gets the job done.

If you’re new to online sports betting, the software might be intimidating due to its somewhat generic layout.

Experienced sports bettors will find plenty of standard and Live Betting options in American, Decimal, and Fractional odds.

One downside to betting here is that it seems to lack prop betting and a wide variety of special bets.

Same Game Parlays is as close as you get to prop betting. While there are bets on things like the Emmys or the US Presidential election, I don’t see anything for betting on entertainment or the WWE.

Many folks like prop bets, and I find the lack of that option a bit disappointing.
